Not the first one. There was a member here who had done a C36 engine in his 190E with the 5 speed dog leg transmission.

There was a black one with a 5 speed for sale in California in the last few months as well, was asking $7k.

I would assume that with a Mercedes flywheel from a manual transmission car, it would be relatively straight forward. The 6 speed would be from a W203 C230 coupe, which was offered as a manual or automatic.

Yes, but the w203 flywheel would not have the three timing segments for the hfm injection on a 96 C36.

You can use a dual-mass flywheel from an inline 6 cylinder engine that had the 3 timing segments.
In the US i believe they were on 190E 2.6 after 1989 and the 300SL with the 3.0 24V engine.

you can modify a sinlge mass from a 4 cyl to have the 3 segments
