Exhaust "pop" in individual

Hi,

i set individual mode to have manual shifts but there is no "pop" from the exhaust when i am in this individual mode.

Is there a way to add pops to individual mode or manual shifts in sport+ mode?
Thanks

Go to the individual settings and set the engine/trans to Sport+.

I don't get pops in any mode in sport + the car just feels like it hiccups and chokes on shifts not like a real pop from what I hear on YouTube

never heard pops on mine in manual mode. Only in sport plus but as mentioned above the drivetrain backlash is crappy.

best sound and shift smoothness is to leave in manual and redline it as it shifts up automatically.

Set I to S+ on trans and use the paddles to control the shifts..

Mine does fart in S+ and I (as set to S+ trans), it also does a little in S but thats only due to the Magnaflow mufflers allowing what little there is to be more audible..

I very rarely use it though.. 99% its in C (which I have stering to S and everythign else in C).

I used to drop into E on the highway but i saw zero mpg improvement and the throttle siganl lag was a PITA.. so zero benefit..

In my C250, I can hear the fart sound from gears 1-2, and 2-3. I haven't heard it from 4 to 5.
Also when it fats, sometimes I can feel how it looses a bit of "momentum" in the acceleration, I don't know if there is a kind of turbo lag, no idea.

I get exhaust pops when I set the trans to Manual, even in Comfort mode. Although it's not as loud or as consistent as you hear it in Sport+.

yes it does, I did it by accident. I thought I was in sport plus when actually I was in individual manual. At redline, it shifts up.

I think maybe we have a ton of people with different cars describing their own. He is right that the C450 will let you bounce on the redline.
If you took over shifting by selecting the gear pulls rather than hitting the trans button on the center column maybe it acts differently. But if you are in manual shift mode with light on in the center column, you can bounce all you like.

Sorry, I was assuming this thread was about the 450 because of the emphasize on the pop of the exhaust, but then I realized that the turbo4 can also create a wastegate pop on upshift? Anywho, the C450 does not automatically upshift for you in manual mode. I can confirm that as I have bounced and continued to bounce off redline when I mis-shifted once
