Remote control inactive after delay time.

Dear all,
Recently i purchased a w211 e320 Benz Avantgard model 2003. I changed the head unit (it was a Japanese unit) with a new modern after sales one. Everything was OK but the sound quality was not good. So, I purchased the fiber optic converter to use the original MOST audio gateway. I installed it successfully and the sound quality was restored to the original quality.
I strange phenomena then started. If the car is locked by the remote for some time (around 15minutes), the remote is not working and I have to open the car using the mechanical key. Of course in this case the anti theft is activated but it will be reset as soon as I put the remote in the ignition. Then the remote will be active again. If i try to close and open using the remote, it is working fine. Only if I lock the car for long period the remote becomes inactive again (like time-out).
Please help to sort out this strange phenomena.
Thanks to all.

The comments in the first part of the second paragraph don't make sense when you read the sentence starting with-----If I try---------what are you really trying to say!! What is the real problem!!

Thanks for the reply. I mean to say that the remote will be active to open and close the car only for about 10-15 minutes from removing the key out of the ignition. Then, after these 15 minutes, the car is not responding to the open or close buttons of the remote.

Do the same events happen with the spare key!!---B---The batteries in the key work the convience features and have nothing to do with starting--do the batteries have the correct voltage---all else requires factory or equal diagnostics to locate the faults!!

I purchased the car with only one key (original key). It was working fine till the installation of the FO MOST converter. Maybe this is only coincidence.
Also I changed the remote batteries with brand new batteries but same phenomena is still happening.
