2017 GLE 63 AMG S
Placed an order for a 2017 GLE 63 AMG S today and the vehicle should be here in Jan, 2017.

OMG you are going to absolutely love this car! i just got rid of my gle450 coupe (so many warranty issues) for the gle63s amg suv! all i can say is wow! that engine is no joke!

Picked up my obsidian black on black GLE 63 S coupe a few days ago and it is an amazing vehicle! I ordered it with every option other than trailer hitch as well. My favorite option is the performance exhaust by far. The Bang & Olfusen is a nice option and the front side speakers/tweeters look awesome lit up, but that exhaust note, wow! I cannot wait after the 1000 mile break in period and an oil change to let it rip. The exhaust note in comfort mode is even incredible. This beast just moves. You made a great vehicle choice and you will be on cloud 9.

I can't wait until I hit the 1k mark! It's going straight for tuning! I'm not to sure about the oil change right after the 1k mark they didn't tell me anything about that. But t sounds like it wouldn't hurt!

OK Thanks, didn't want to miss one. Ive read 10k oil change and also rear diff oil needs to be change at 10k but don't know for sure.

1000 mile oil change not mentioned by dealership, but read a lot on AMG posts that it is a good idea after engine break in due to any possible impurities. I would do this as prevention in case you plan on keeping the car for a longer period of time.

Illuminated Star on the GLE 63
Cannot get the illuminated star with distronic. So I opted for distronic and will probably get chrome wheels rather than white painted rims

Just picked mine up the week past.
Diamond White with the black wheels (22"). Has every option except the Bang Olufsen System, and the illuminated Star.
No pics yet. The whether (North East) and lack of time won't permit.
Loving every min. of it so far, except the sort of hard ride on bumpy streets. Only have about 175 miles on her so far. I'm early in the game.

2018 SL 65 AMG 2017 GLE 63S 2015 RAM RT
Changed the color of the GLE from Poplar White to Iridium Silver Metallic so the rails and running boards would match the silver. Will go with 21" chromes.
Any suggestions on the chromies would be appreciated.

Went to the Stealer ship today to get my plates. Had a short run on the highway, and was doing 105 and it felt like I was doing 60. if it wasn't for the exhaust gargling and screaming when I was down shifting, I would not have know or even looked at the speedometer.

I wanted to ask a couple of questions.
First was, does anyone know of any places that have other exhaust options?
And secondly would anyone recommend re mapping it?

Do you have the Performance Exhaust option? I'm trying to decide if I can live without it as some of the new ones I'm looking at do not have that factory option.
