PM Your Deals?

Hey guys,

I am looking at a C300 Coupe but am finding it hard to locate anyone, anywhere posting about the final deal they got in terms of % off MSRP. I want to make an aggressive lease offer (who doesn't?!) but I can't find any benchmarks.

Do you any of you guys mind sharing your purchase/lease prices in terms of MSRP reduction? I am looking at c300 1st edition, but any price on any trim level would give me more info than I have now.

Also, please feel free to point out if I have just missed some really obvious price paid thread somewhere in my google adventures

Thanks!

Thank you! How is the matte paint? Do you really have to be a car fanatic to properly care for it?

I love it

No, this seems very very practical, actually. Not too much work should be done to properly take care of this sexy beast.

Go for at least 10% off MSRP, I did. Also, when you do your lease, if you have extra cash that isn't doing much, you may want to look into doing Multiple Security Deposits. Each MSD will be equal to your monthly payment rounded out to the nearest $50. You should be able to make up to 10 MSDs. So let's say your lease is $479/mo, then each MSD=$500. For each MSD you give at signing, about 0.00007 comes off your MF (money factor which is also you APR). So if you were to max the MSDs and give $5000, then your MF is reduced by 0.0007 (0.00007 x 10 = 0.0007).
My MF started at 0.00121 and went to 0.00051; or in more understandable terms of APR, it went from 2.9% to 1.22% and I saved almost $3000 for the term of the lease. HERE'S THE KICKER: At the end of the lease, your whole MSD is returned in full with now extra charges.

Thanks guys. The dealer here quoted me 1095 acquisition fee, which was high. Then he wanted to give me .00122 money factor after one pay, which is high. Finally he told me twice, in person, that MB doesn't allow multiple security deposits.

The first two I can accept as him opening negotiations...the security deposit thing means he either lied or doesn't know what he is talking about.

When I did my MSD, the financial guy said he had done one in 10 years. Could be that your guy just isn't aware...or as you said, he could be lying. You may want to check with another MB dealership as it could be that each dealership makes its own decision about MSDs???

MSD's is a dealer thing, but MBFS definitely does allow for it.
