DIY? New SC pulley?
Hello my knowledgeable friends,
How hard is the DIY for a new pulley for the supercharger. Thinking about getting a Eurocharged tune with the 83mm super charger pulley which from my very limited knowledge will provide a little more boost and supplement the tune nicely.
Any thoughts suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I'm not the handiest of guys but I can follow directions and use resources to get the job done.
Thanks again!

I can tell you that if you have the right tools, you can do it.
I tried doing it myself but I didn't have air tools so I couldn't do it. The pulley nut was way to hard to take off. I had a shop swap mine.

I tried a strap belt tool and it was useless. The 2 large hose clamp process works pretty well - and this worked for me. Not a hard process if you get the SC bolt off. Make sure you use the appropriate gap between the clutch and the friction pulley. A smaller gap works better than too much gap.
I'll be in Santa Barbara on Sat. if you need help.

takes the mechanic who works on my car less than 30 minutes to remove and re-install. If you can find a shop to do it in an hour or $100 = not a bad investment.
why only an 83?
also, folks smarter than me recommend clutched versus fixed.
good luck
