Hi every one i have a question i went to replace the 200k engine to e55 it will fit our not what the problem I will have and what I should replace whit the engine

You'd need ECU and wiring harness, TCU, engine, transmission (same gearbox but with beefier clutches and bands), exhaust manifolds and at least part of the exhaust system. The radiator and transmission cooler might or might not be up to the task of handling the 5.4L swap. Probably best just to get a wrecked E55 and take everything from there if you are determined to go that route. That would also allow you to use the instrument cluster, EIS ignition, and key, so you'd just have to mate the CAN/BUS controller to the ECU then. An ML55 should work as well, but I can't guarantee that. With the weight difference up front you might need to change shocks and springs, too. Fuel pump and filter might be the same; I couldn't say without checking part numbers. If you get a salvage E55, make sure it matches the split either before or after the 1999/2000 model year with your car. The W210 went through some major updates for the 2000 models and not everything electronic plays well between the pre- and post-facelift models.

OK what I want to do is buying an E55 2001 the same model fo my car and replace everything but i need to know what will not fit in like suspension , machine parts , interior and what i don't have to replace. It will fit probably or not

Just finished an 02 E320 to E55 conversion.

I took engine and transmission with front and rear suspension and brakes and differential. Installed all of them and then changed the cluster and the trans computer and got a blank ecu and matched it to the car.

I did start with a whole car.

As far as the blank ECU, What did you have to do to make it work?

I have wanted to do a Final drive swap of 3.07. But the TCU in 00' is EGS51.
I wanted to buy a blank 2000 c43 ECU. But I wasn't sure if it would work.
