I finally acquired the CF engine bay covers thanks to mbworld user 'juans' - who I had the pleasure of meeting in person yesterday to make the exchange.
I put the pieces in place and it looks like pure sex (see pic below). However, before I spend hours pulling my hair out trying to figure out which bracket goes where (in order to secure them down) - does anyone happen to have an installation guide?
Since you can't figure out how to install it.. I will gladly take it off your hands for half price!

Sorry man... well, when you do procure a set I'll be there to help you install it correctly.
FWIW, when I called MB parts a few months ago, they noted there were 9 sets left in inventory (globally!). Since that time, it seems like the price came down from $15-17k to $12k (ish).
That's probably pretty accurate. I was going off of an online price of $12,800 for the CF pieces but then you add taxes, shipping (?), and the brackets (~$200) - you'll be at $14k.
