Blind spot assist inoperative
On my 2010 E550 it says my blind spot is inoperative. It also says my key batteries are dead so it won't push to start. I tried that on both keys. Everything else seems to be working fine. I did some searching around and nothing seems to be the main issue, except maybe being dirty. Any body have any ideas?

BSA control unit (front passenger footwell), radar sensors (located in rear bumper), or lamp indicators in outside mirror may be malfunctioning. For definitive diagnose, have dealer or independent with SDS (MB diagnostic equipment) check for fault codes. No codes, they may be able to correct with recalibration and/or software update (if available).

My only concern is because I bought the car from a BMW dealer so I don't know if they have the right system or not.

That is a concern, they don't have the MB tools and the experience and will no doubt shop the car to an MB dealer!!
