are you keeping stock shocks? If so, any concerns about shock life?

^ there have been people on this forum (who no longer post, from what I can tell) who have had their stock shocks and lowering springs for years with no adverse effects. I have had mine for over a year and haven't had any issues. Does it wear the shocks prematurely? Sure, maybe. But our cars are cruisers, so the advance wear should be negligible (unless you're OCD), unless you're tracking it or doing Auto-X (which would be hilarious to see for the non-AMG W212)

I had lowering springs on stock shocks on my leased 11 30k miles no issues then bought another 11 and bagged it. The springs were awesome but bags is 100% the way to go if you can swing it.

I'm on H&R springs with stock shocks at the moment. Ride isn't the greatest but that's also due to the 20's and low profile tires.
I would love to do bags instead one day.. What did the setup cost you?

Yeah bags is the way to go... Its hard to say we do air setups at my shop so what I have into it isn't

really what it would cost someone else. Fair guess would be around $4500-5k but that highly depends on management and trunk build outs.

I was quoted "about $8k" (not an official quote, just a guess from the shop) because of the management and tank options I was looking at. Also because they weren't sure if they'd need to fab a front sway bar to clear the 4Matic bits up front (I don't think that would be necessary, but I'm also not a professional)
