E500 airmatic strut on e55

Hello,

Today on my way from home the front was sinking down, i got message of visit workshop.

I notice it is way worse on the right side. So something have happend on the right passenger side.

My friend got a e500 and he bought a conversion kit for and gonna replace the airsuspention with. The right passenger side on that car is fine. Can i use that strut you think?

I know it is diffrents strut but i don't really care if its a small diffrent, i only use this car as daily and want it running.

thanks
Andreas

It could be a number of things. The stock rears are cut out most of the time. To get them out in one piece you have to pull rear end.

The e55 and e500 have different part numbers for their shocks. I'm sure it'll fit, but it may make the car handle really weird. I'd just get the Arnott replacement from FCP euro and not worry about it again. (lifetime warranty)
