MB wiper VS Bosch Icon OE24
MB wipers just do not work on my vehicle. You get skipping at slow wipe. Replaced with Bosch Icon OE24. Used 3 days in the rain they did not skip or Jitter once. Took apart the MB and Bosch Icon OE24 wiper blades and found they are just about identical they way they are put together. I took the rubber part off the MB and Bosch blades. I then put the Bosch rubber on the MB housing. Fit like a glove. Took about an hour total time. I will now wait for Rain to see if it skips or jitters. If it does not skip or jitter then I know that it was just the rubber and not the blade housing. If it does skip and jitter then I will just put the Bosch Icon OE24 back on and I will know that it was the housing. I swapped it out because of the MB logo on the MB housing. I guess it was vanity. When I finally get rain while driving I will let you know. Hopefully it will work

I did not take pictures of the process but I can explain in detail if that would help. Or If you wait till tomorrow I can show pictures of where certain things need to be done to take apart if that is what you want

I am also eagerly waiting. The C and the E have the same blades, I believe. My car has brand new OEM blades and they are essentially worthless they skip/judder so bad. I actually have an appt with the dealership on Wednesday.. after much testing, they are just going to retrofit my car with the wiper arms and blades off the older C-class.
For those saying that the wipers are the same on the 2011-2012s as they are on the 2014s - this is wrong. The 2014 C and E have different wipers than previous years. The design has changed, and all of these suffer from annoying skipping/juddering.
I have had a W203, W211, and a 2011 model W204 - all of them had excellent, long-lasting, judder free wipers.
My 2014's blades are basically useless they skip/judder so much. The dealer has cleaned the windshield, polished it, they've tried everything. They acknowledge it is a terrible design, but they also say Mercedes will not be fixing it. This is why they've gotten permission to replace mine with old parts.

Wait is over. Took car out in rain today. The MB arms with the Bosch Rubber do not skip. The quality of the MB rubber must be really cheap. After several hours of use at various speeds there was no skipping or shuttering. Wow. So if you want to put in about an hours worth of time all you need to do is take the rubber out of a set of Bosch icon 24OE and remove the crappy rubber in the Mercedes Wiper arm and install the good rubber from the Bosch onto the Mercedes arm.

Thanks for the tip. Pics of your mod would be helpful.
Two things bug me about the OEM blades: (1) as noted, they skip which is annoying and (2) I find the Merc star on the blades to be pretentious even if most folks won't ever see it.

I did not take pictures while doing it. Next time if I need to do it I will take pictures of each step. I ran the Bosch blades while on vacation and they worked great but it did not have the MB logo. If the MB logo missing does not bother someone then they could just use the Bosch

I wasn't looking for pics of the process but of the finished product.

Never noticed the MB logo on my wipers. Replaced them with Bosch at Advance Auto Parts. Took the guy five minutes to do it and a whole lot cheaper than paying MB prices.
Work as well as the OEM did.
