Help! Air box removal from grommets!?
Tried to do $12 hose replacement last night but couldn't get air box released from grommets on the right and left front bottom of air box?!!!
So frustrated and almost ripped the thing out, but decided to regroup and research before I attempted again!
Any suggestions or tricks?? Please help!

The front grommets don't get removed, they slide out. The best way to to attach some glue tack or some tape underneath the bolts on the back of the filter box so the don't keep sliding back into the holes, then push the box towards the car (seating cabin) and lift from the back of the filter box (were the bolts are). It is a pain but if it doesn't work try removing the hose behind it and removing the MAF housing then try the filter box.
If you need help just check my thread and look at the attachments
Hope It helps

I also have this problem , I try to replace the old belt. First I must remove the air filter housing, but I tried many times still cannot remove it.
Can anyone help me to solve the problem ? it is better if show me some pictures. Thanks
