BMW 435i to C63S Coupe

Hi all,

New member and AMG convert here. Ive had a 2015 BMW 435i Gran Coupe for the last two years and started looking at replacing it with an F80M3 earlier this summer. I spent a lot of time in the new M3 and M4 at the dealership and took my friend's M4 around in back road drives.

The M3/4 is remarkably fast and precise but i just didn't quite enjoy driving it as much as I thought I would and couldn't justify spending that kind of money on a car I didn't enjoy. I decided to do my due diligence and research other cars that compete with the M3/4 and the C63 S was winning a lot in f praise from the automotive journalist community.

So I contacted my local AMG dealership and scheduled a test drive of a C63S sedan as there were no coupes available. I was instantly impressed with the sedan. The engine, exhaust note and suspension sounded and felt way better than the M. I told my SA I liked it but will have to test drive the Coupe first before deciding to move forward, and as my luck would have it, Mercedes was hosting an AMG performance tour which I got invited to. I had 75 minutes to spend with my choice of 8 different AMG models to go around a short pylon track.

I got there early and sampled the C63 Coupe, GT-S, GLE 63, CLA45, S65, etc..

Everyone else that arrived for the event was waiting in line for the GTS and I got to take the C63S around the track over and over and O MY GAD, the drama, the character, the noise was truly epic. This car is a beast and hits the spot for me like nothing else.

A few weeks later I ordered a Selenite Grey C63S Coupe with the following specs:
- red pepper / black AMG leather
- black ash wood trim
- AMG performance seats
- intelligent drive package
- premium package
- Night Package
- HUD
- 360 Camera
- Air balance

I kept the standar wheels because I plan to out bigger aftermarket wheel when I take delivery and I'll probably wrap it in the BMW M6 San Marino Blue.

Unfortunate I won't take delivery until March next year. Until then, I'll live vicariously through the other lucky owners in the interwebs.
