C32 Superchargers and mods
Hi guys. Im new to the C32 AMG....
I have a 2002 c32 wagon on the way. It has 168.000km on it and iv heard that towards 200.000km the supercharger might get worn bearings...
I also read that Mercedes exchange the whole unit? But it shuld be possible to overhaul as well? Any links to more info on this and what parts needed?
So if you overhaul the supercharger, wold it be a good idea to port it up abit? My experiance is from the SVT Lightning so maby this is not beneficial on the c32....?
Is there alternatives to install other superchargers as a upgrade? Turbo converting?
On the svt the IC is under the Supercharger... is it the same on these MB engines and that its a good idea to open up and clean it out? anyone done that in here?

Found out that this engine including the supercharger is also in the Chrysler Crossfire SRT6. Seems like there is some diffrences, but all in all its the same. Airintake in a SRT6 seems diffrent and simpler (also way cheaper).
So noone here ever ported the supercharger?

Hello:
I don't have any idea about porting the supercharger. But what I can tell you is that there are plenty of places where you can sent in your SC and have them rebuild it. I would also add that Rob at Needswings.com can probably direct you in the right direction. He is very helpful.
Good luck

MBWorld Fanatic!
Having a split intake, granted from a 55, siting in my garage. I was amazed at how little I could do to make the design flow better after owning a 32 also I doubt there is much you could do that would be worth your time.
