Questions about the ML550 body hardware
Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone knew what the roof rails, front and rear diffusers, and the side trim on the windows are made out of on a 2009-2011 ML550? I'm taking a guess and saying stainless steel, but I might be wrong so I just wanted to see if anyone knows, as I am looking to paint them, but might have to go to powdercoating if that is not possible. Thanks.

I doubt they are metal, probably some kind of composite, but I don't know for sure. Either way you ought to be able to sand and paint.
