Got my catless DPs on. With X pipe
Went over to my neighbors house yesterday and installed my cat less Downpipes. I already had an Xpipe in place of the resonator. This thing sounds strait nasty on downshifts.
This is a cold start video from this morning from sitting overnight. And honestly the video does not do it justice. You can hear way more turbo noise in person. On downshifts the pops are flat nasty.
Next up get this bad boy tuned

Rado Catless. Got them from another member.
No CEL yet but I only have about 30 miles on it so far. I am sure it will come on. Trying to get it tuned asap
I was a little worried that the x pipe was going to quiet it down a little but it has a serious bark to it more so then others I have heard. I love it. I will try to get a better video of it later. This was just a quick video before I left for work this morning.

what does the x pipe do? Is that for power or added noise?

nope nothing yet !!
I am taking it easy until the tune is completed. The only thing I noticed at all other the the glorious sound of m157 unleashed was that my oil temp wen from 199 to 204 *f I thought that was weird but chromikey thinks it could be cause I'm a little leaner. Tune is next and I will keep it out of WOT until then

Can someone explain what an x pipe does?
does adding x pipe with catless downpipes make them louder?

If built properly and placed properly in the exhaust system an X-pipe can help maintain velocity of exhaust gases. Technically there is a performance gain but probably not enough to notice except on a back to back dyno run. Although not it's purpose, it often can change the exhaust sound, which may or may not be louder.

Absolutely zero drone. Just cruising around the car is hardly louder then stock. But once you give it more then 50% throttle it comes to life. Honestly I personally feel that the car sounds like it looks. Now should be tuned by the end of the week
