TPMS module location

Hi All,

I have searched the forum and have not been able to determine where the TPMS controller is located in my '05 E55.
Can anyone tell me where to look?

THANKS!

The N88 is the small box found in the rear left of car in the trunk next to the SAM you will find the N88 module. It is ***BELOW*** of the NAV DVD-ROM.

Are you sure you have it? My E63 doesn't since it has rubber valve stems.

A picture is worth ya know... a bunch of words as they say

Left side of trunk N88

Figured this would clarify location a bit more for interested parties

Yes it does. The car was optioned with it, and the previous owner told me he had the dealer turn it off in Star.
I need to determine if its 315 or 433Mhz (most likely) so I can buy a new set of sensors to get it working again.
I was hoping the TPMS module might be labelled with the frequency, or perhaps the part number might decode and tell me

Excellent thanks. I can see it in the pic, below the NAV dvd box.

I'm looking for this dealer!

So far, I've gone to two Mercedes dealers, and one independent shop specializing in Mercs...and all have told me that they can't Code this out, due to federal regs.

I know the STAR can do it, but the dealers won't. Pissing me off, and I hate that notification...
