So pumped for this!

Getting the R1 package installed today. Had to come to FL for a conference anyway so I drove the GT down and dropped it off for a little love!

Nice. So a software fix on the flip up spoiler was part of the install?

Wow. Congrats. Post pics when it's done.
The rotation of the earth probably will change due to the weight on the $$ sent down south for this.

GT. Planned on going this route all along and with the available options on the GT I didn't really see any need to buy the GT-S just for the additional power. I personally don't care for the flip up wing either so a tuned GT is the best of both worlds for me. Should be ready tomorrow morning!

Good move Boosting, you got exactly the car you wanted and will move into the 600/600 club

Did I assume incorrectly that the R1 package was the full blown exterior package with wheels?

Yes, it's filters, downpipes, bov adapters and tune.

Just picked it up, holy shiz it's a completely different animal!! Turbo lag is honestly a little more noticeable now when you floor it but it's like a banshee when it takes off and pulls and pulls and pulls. Sounds like a monster with the exhaust open under WOT, with the valves closed and cruising at highway speed it's barely louder than normal and no drone to speak of. I picked it up and cruised it down to Weston down the turnpike, really looking forward to getting it on a curvy road on the way back north this weekend!

Awesome dyno numbers OP, definitely woke up the beast. I think this is a great package and one that I would get if I had a GT, but, I don't think I would put the Renntech blow off valves on, it makes this $150k weapon sound like a car from Fast and the Furious because they are constantly going off after every throttle lift.... But Then you have the exhaust note and the burbles, which are sweet music to the ear.
