Removing pass side lower dash panelI have a 1997 SL500 with pass side airbags.

I have a 1997 SL500 with pass sideairbags. Need to get to connector X35 which is behind airbag panel/lower dash panel. I've removed to screws from the bottom of the lower panel and the black plastic part is out. Now it seems secured at the top to the airbag cover. How do I remove airbag cover and lower dash cover. I've looked at Alldata and most of their illustrations refer to older cars without pass airbags. Thanks
