Hi there folks,

I need help with the heated rear window of my '97 R129 Pano Hardtop. The rear window presents a damage and it cannot be repaired as they said me. (There is a cut 25 cm long on the surface).

I want to replace it, no matter how much it costs, but I'm not able to find the right piece.

Here's the code reported on the rear window:

Well, I went to the nearest MB dealer and they checked on the catalogue, but it seems this code matches with TWO different windows, with similar names and no other details that could make me sure on which one to order.

The only thing is one of the two costs more than the other (around 650 € vs. 550)

I think I should go for the expensive one, because the Pano HT was an optional. But I'd like more info.

Any clue?


PS: My SL is an EU version, bought in Germany and taken to Italy where I live (it may help).
