Where is the "accident fuel cut off" reset inertia switch in a 1990 300SL?

I have had the car stop and not run. A benz mechanic told me to disconnect the negative terminal and wait. I don't recall the time, however after a day of work I reconnected and after the steering wheel full Right and left the warning lights went off and the car engine was back to full function. My car has only the emergency gas filler opening **** above the battery. I have never used it!
Hope you find a solution |
