SL/R129: Idle Surging

Idle Surging
Has anyone experienced the Engine Surging immediately after startup...in a 1995 SL320..? Thanks for any help with explanation or remedy or cause..this just started yesterday..Thanks...

One possibility may be a tear in hose or problem with excessive air mixture causing this sudden surge.

Thanks for your reply..I just replaced the MAF Sensor, maybe the computer is trying to catch up, I don't know..Ill check the vacuum lines to see if there is a leak, have to get a can of either to do it.

Well..replacing the MAF Sensor did NOT correct the problem even though the code I got was P0101 Maf Circuit fault. The car ran a couple of times just fine no Red Engine Light on..then all of a sudden the Red Engine Light came back on again after replacing the MAF and the car is surging yet again. I ran hyet another Diagnostic test and the same result came back up again..? I'm at a loss now as to what the problem is....any help would be greatly appreciated..Thanks...
