SL/R129: R129 driver's seat back latch

R129 driver's seat back latch
My drivers seat back will not unlatch and tip forward.
Any help appreciated in what to do. I guess the seat needs to come out and then strip off the back somehow to find the clip that is broken?
Or is it something else??
