Passenger assist Handle Removal

Hi All,

New here, and to Mercedes, Have already into'ed myself on the New Member Thread https://mbworld.org/forums/new-membe...ml#post6278289

I'm doing some restoration and am having trouble determining the removal process for the Passenger Assist Handles fastened to the inside of the top. Clearly I need to replace the headliner hence the need for removal. If you check the link you'll see the top/handles in the last picture.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards.

Thanks SRH. I'll give it a closer look when I get home tonight however; I didn't see a plug on either the outer or inner of the handles on initial inspection. Thought maybe a "keyhole"/"stud" sliding type fastener...
