R129 mercedes i own has got a problem 2001.

It had a acceleration issue when you try and overtake ie put your foot down, would hesitate badly.

The otherday i thought i would try and clear it bu giving it a boot, but went to linp mode instead,
Code read it came up with airmass meter, fuel trim and random misfire, then misfire cyl 1/2/5/6

Any ideas if these can be caused just by airmass, or would it be likely to develop misfires on all these?

My experience is yes the air quality check point in the engine air take system can set off the CEL but does not put the vehicle into Limp home mode unless other factors, like spark or fuel flow are also present.
What engine, odometer reading is your R129?
