Engine cuts off when car is warm.. its fine when its cold
Hi Peeps,
hope you can help!!!
having a nightmare with this car. gave to a mechanic, he drove it without oil so lower ends broken!.
got engine replaced. drives fine when cold but once the car warms up.. the engine pops and cuts off, after its difficult to start up unless its cold again.
any idea what the issue is???

1995 SL500
Same w/me - my solution was CPS and thermal sensors >>>. for everything was ~$100.00 - I did the labor. Problem went away. From what I've read the CPS goes between 80,000 & 120k miles. The new sensors are supposed to be improved.
