Just purchased this car with 105k miles and it has developed a problem while closing the soft top. Could not find a similar issue throughout the forum.

From a full open position(soft top completely down) when pressing up/close button to close it, it will the regular sequence, roll windows down, open back, raise the soft top, latch front right and front left, then lack back and this is where the problem is. As soon as it latches in the back, both windows are coming up about 5 cm and then go back down. Latch is the back will unlock, then re lock again and windows move up 5cm. Etc...

This sequence repeats itself. Although the back is latched properly( I even use the wrench provided to lock it) the car is not registering lock and beeps while driving.

I assume this is probably due to sequence not completing? Windows are synchronized

What else can be done besides a mechanic?
