1993 300SL running rough
Hi all,
Have an early 1993 SL300, has been sitting for a while.
Drove it 20 miles today, all was well.
Coming out of a tight corner it suddenly struggled to accelerate and was stuttering. Had to put my foot right down just to keep moving. Once stationary it was spluttering on idle with vibration, again lots of throttle needed to move.
It basically misfires until I hit the accelerator and kick down comes into play, started mostly on corners, was a little dangerous out of junctions as has no power unless I floored it!
Coming back on the motorway started hesitating constantly, I was able to sit at 70mph but she wasn't happy.
I thought maybe fuel was bad so put £20 BP to no avail.
Any ideas?
