Why is hydraulic fluid leaking from....

Found hydraulic fluid leaking from this "plug" today while changing the shocks.
Before I start tearing things apart, has anyone seen this particular issue before? Is there a connection in a line that runs in the interior rocker panels that needs to be tightened or a new o-ring installed?
If I push up on this thing, it gives way, so it's not solid. Hope that helps.

Thanks.

Look for a leaking actuating cylinder in the soft top storage boot area. When they start leaking, the fluid drips through a water drain hole in front corner of the storage area, each side.
Cheers,
Jeff

Thanks Jeff. I'll take a look at that.

Here are a couple of pics from under the tonneau cover with the top up. Everything looks dry. I'm still leaking fluid from the spot I show above when I actuate the top. Notice in the second pic the largest cylinder with the weep hole next to it(main lift cylinder I believe). Maybe this is where the leak is? Can't get my hand down there to check. Can anyone point me to a write up on how to get to the bottom of this cylinder(and eventually remove)

to check? Do I need to remove the inner wheel cover?

Sorry the pics are so big. Just found a write up on Top Hydraulics on how to remove. Pretty involved. I think I'll give them a call in the morning just to get their take on this before I tear things apart. Their write up says that when these main cylinders leak, it's at the top, so I should have seen fluid when I inspected, Maybe just a loose line at the bottom?

Many of us have been pleased with the efforts and products of Tophydraulics.
Good luck. If one is leaking the rest will follow!
