yes, A careful wipe with solvent of the sensor wire mesh worked for a short period ( months ) and after buying a new factory part, I will continue to clean, but my check engine light ( CEL ) still comes on and the code is also MAF sensor. I have learned not to pour money down that rat hole!
The V12 has only the light issue with the air sensor, so if it caused the LHM that would be a different concern. I now ignor!

I was looking for a DIY which showed me exactly what to do. I have done it on the newer cars but not for the 92 R129.
I checked YouTube, and they are all for different cars and not specific for the 92 R129.
