Coolant Temperature Sensor

Is there a fix or replacement CTS that would lower the running temperature of the coolant by regulating the fans more frequently?

Yes, install a 1.1K resistor to the temp sensor to lower the turn-on point to 90 degrees instead of 105.

Sounds good, but could you be a little more specific on how to achieve this install. Thanks

You put a 1.1k resistor across the 2 poles of the temp sensor. In other words, you connect (short) the sensor's 2 poles using a 1.1 k resistor.

Thanks EDCARLS

Did as EDCARLS suggested and the engine runs much cooler. Thanks for the tip! Total cost 25 cents for resistor and ten minutes to solder the two wires.
