Window Drop Not Dropping???
Went out to do a roadtrip. Got about a mile away, noticed the drivers window was down just a little. Weird... I always close all the windows when I put the toys away. Didn't think much about it. Got to my destination, opened the door noticed the window did not drop. Oh crap...
I heard a rumor that if it's really cold (it was single digits last night), that sometimes the windows get moody and refuse to drop. Well somebody should have told the passenger side because it's working just fine.
Come on, is this really true? I also heard a rumor that the insides of the doors are heated. Seriously?
What's really going on. Inquiring minds want to know. If it's possibly busted, what might the culprit be?
Thoughts, ideas, suggestions, anything at this point.
Thanks,

Every German car I have owned has its special moments! I won't go into the Wankel !!!
I suspect the "halls sensor" has been out of sync. Not sure of the late model method but mid 90's uses the window buttons pushed at the same time, in a "up down" ride to get the sensors on the same track.
Klaus from Tophydraulic.com may give you better insight.
Good luck and Happy New Year from Kansas

The switch trick didn't work. Tried tophydraulics.com and am getting a 503 service temporarily unavailable error. Been that way for a couple of days.
Any other way to get hold of Klaus or tophydraulics?
Thanks
