I purchased a 600sl with some engine issues. The engine had been partially stripped, basically everything had been removed except the engine block and located in the boot and back seat. After some research I found that number 10 cylinder had seized due to overheating. The end result was that I purchased a second hand engine and after some swapping of bits and pieces the engine is now located in the engine compartment. My issue now it trying to determine where all the small breather pipes go. I have managed to find homes for everything but the small plastic pipes. Any advice / photographs would be most welcome

I know it's expensive now, however in your case I would advise a 24 hour subscription to MB WIS---put the VIN in and look at\print all the applicable factory work sheets and wiring\vacuum diagrams
