R129 SL500 engines
Dear gents,
I planning to buy Sl500 from japan,I found 3 V8 engines,both are SL500 so what the difference between Chassis code 129066, 129067 and 129068?

I don't know the specifics but the.066 and .067 was the M119 engine .068 is M113. Here is a nice write up: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Merced...SL-Class_(R129).

You can see the difference in the upper back of the engine the 066 has a spider like fuel distributor and the 067 has the complete cover.
