THIRD BRAKELIGHT CAN BULB BE CHANGED?
My third brakelight has 1 bulb burned out on the end. After looking at a parts diagram there are several parts that make up the assembly, but I have heard that you have to replace the entire unit. Has anyone taken this apart and changed out a led bulb?? Dave in Tampa jdaviddavid1@aol.com

yes bulbs are replaceable.
when boot lid is open there are plastic covers near 3rd brake light.
remove them and slide bulb harness out.
very tight though, just be gentle.
I just replace mine with led lights

Well got the light strip out tight fit, changed bulb but getting the strip back in and tight was impossible so I ran a bead of cement around the entire strip the pressed it back in and held it tight for a couple of minutes. It now works all bulbs just hope the cement holds
