Keyless Go - software update cost?
My keyless go stopped working on my 2006 SL500. They key works in the ignition, but the start button works intermittently. The door entry and locks work fine.
My independent mechanic told me that mechanically it's fine but needs a software update, which can only be done at the dealer. Has anyone had to get this done? I'm just wondering how much it cost, without warranty.

I am not aware that keyless go is flashable!
It's part of the EZS which is not flashable !
What tests has he done does it see the key inside the car? Does the start button work? Any faults or events stored?
