R129 Poltergeist Activity
Not my car but a friend of a friend is having trouble with their R129.
It will suddenly accelerate on it's own accord then the ABS cuts in. Not sure of the model but it sounds like sensor issues to me. Were the M112/113 powered models drive-by-wire?
The car has been at a specialist since October 2015!
Any advice would be appreciated.

They're heeeeere ! Come to think of it, "Poltergeist" is a good choice of terms to describe the spooky behavior seen in that car. Please let us hear if a fix is found, as that could help any more of us R129 owners that experience such odd engine surge symptoms while driving.
