1995 SL320: restore or replace
New member here. We have owned our '95 SL 320 since it was new, but will be retiring in the next year and will need to either do some restoration to the interior or else replace with something new. It is currently our third car, but will not have company car after retirement, so will need to drive this car more.
We have 92K miles on her, and mechanically and body wise she is in great shape. Replaced top a few years ago, and had A/C repaired a while back. I know the resale value is very low, but question the decision to put too much cash into a 21 year old car.Needs a new radio, driver's seat, and work on wood interior.
Any suggestions?

I like old stuff, so I restore to driver quality. I don't use vanity cars as regular drivers.
One owner is very rare. You are a rare bird on the web site.
You did not mention engine issues with head gasket.
Where in the world are you?

Would keep this car and drive occasionally but get something more reliable for daily driving
I would also slowly put some cash into this car to get it 100% functional

We are located in central Indiana, but will be moving to the Charleston, SC area next summer. We have never had any issues with our engine or head gaskets.
We're inclined to keep as our second car in retirement, but would possibly replace with a newer model convertible for longer trips.
Thanks for the responses.
