1999 SL 500 A/C problem
No air is coming from my driver's side a/c vent. Otherwise all other vents seem to be working fine and the air is ice cold. Ive seen lots of posts regarding the center vents but nothing on only one side. I thought there might be a dedicated fan for my vent that malfunctioned but it seems there is only one fan for the whole system. Or am I missing something? Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

Out Of Control!!
You have loads of self diagnostics on that car---simply search the forum for the "flap test" preform the test and post the data, however no doubt the results will be obvious!!----you have a faulty flap!!

If you read about the center vents not working, you could probably try the solution to those as well. If I recall correctly, the vents are pneumatically controlled and default to closed without a vacuum. You should inspect your vacuum hoses and look for cracks or hoses not connected around the joints. You will be able to find some of these hoses at the passenger side of the engine bay, near the windshield.
