99 sl500 newbie/ seat belt warning?

so my dome light doesn't work when door is opened but does this car have a warning when you don't buckle up, if so mine doesn't work, question is could dome light and seat belt warning be one problem? of course if there is no seat belt warning then my dome light idea means nothing.

Nope---have you checked the bulb!!

Some countries chime and some don't, but do you see the seat belt icon in the dash when you are not hooked up!!-----if not you have an issue!!

Bulbs work when I turn the switch on, No seat belt icon, Could both be related? Maybe fuse or relay? also auto window drop doesn't work on r side

I do not own your year. My interior light switch has; On, Off and door open as its toggle range.
The seat belt warning in the older benz has buzzer and dash light as two separate systems. If not restraint light is on then I would look first for a bulb, fuse electrical then the seat belt wiring.
