Immediately took it on a work trip from Denver to Rapid City (via the Black Hills), and back by way of the twisty road through Rushmore National Forest.
This is, without doubt, the best car I have ever driven. Traded in a Z4.
I have an injured back, hip, and knee, and have never found a car as comfortable as this. Seat heat to act as a heating pad, the massage function of the seat, and the range of adjustment are all phenomenal.
Also, Wyoming just upped the limit on I-25 to 80mph
As an aside, I must say: I have wanted an SL for 30 years.
And I truly think the R230 is the most beautiful design MB has put out since the R107 was penned 45 years ago.
My only regrets are;
1) That it took so long to get one, and
2) that my 230 is already eight years old, and I don't know how long it will be able to be my daily driver. I fear that in 6 or 7 years, it will have to be retired, and there won't be anything to replace it with.

Hello mbworld my name is Andre owner of a 05 SL600 .
i have a problem with my sl wheel speed sensors due to my wheel and tire size is there a way to fix this problem pleas any idea will help . after swapping my rear wheels to original wheels 18' at a race track my abs esp lite came on speed sensors read different speed from front and rear sensors .i went back to my 20'' big wheels and still get the codes but when i go all stock size the lights just go away ... anything i can do to work my 20 wheels on my car cuz car is customized and there is no chance i can use my old wheels on it ,,, PLEAS HELP

Not hating these wheels, but now is the time to buy different wheels to freshen the car up a bit.
