2008 SL 550
Cool Can anybody help?

I have a 2008 SL 550, I want to replace the headlamp assembly. Can I just remove the two bolts at the top and remove, or does it require the front bumper to come off as well. It looks like it just comes out if the two bolts are removed on the top of the lamp.
Any feedback world be greatly appreciated.

You need to take out the lower center mesh, remove the 10 mm nut behind the relevent side, remove the grille, and there are 2 silver screws holding the top of the bumper on. Then, remove, or gently pry aside the front fender liner to remove the T20 torx screw that holds the retaining slide to the bumper and fender. Press the slide in towards the center of the car a little, and then pull it backwards. it will slide straight back, then you can gently pull the bumper forward until you will see it slid free of the fender. From there you can access the last fasteners for the headlamp. Reinstall opposite of disassembly.
