Hey guys and gals, here are the "almost" final pics for how my crazy upgrades came out.
The items done are: interior and exterior blue LED spot lightings, the AMG brakes and rotors, widened exhaust pipes, tinted rear lights and center break light, DVD player with TV tuner on stock 04 COMMAND Nav unit, Reus Audio upgrade with subwoofer and satellite speakers, interior white lights replacing stock "****" yellow lights, and front lights all replaced to 60k white bulbs.
Previous upgrades include Lorinser trunk spoiler, Carlsson front spoiler lip, 20" OZ wheels, and 3M tinted windows.
Still needs to be done (in the next month), Angle eye/halo for MB emblem, blue LED lights for trunk interior.
Wants done in 2 years, Renntech supercharger with Carlsson exhaust system.
The lights are controlled by wired controllers or by remote (2 systems) and can be programed to dance, blink, spin, and flash with music played (inteior responds to higher freq, and exterior to bass.
Sorry to those waiting to see the Angel eye, have to wait another month...

Thanks Italian and Kaze, and to the others who have PM'ed me with comps. like Italian says, these are fun mods! Went a bit crazy with the light show but what the heck, why work so hard to make money if you are not going to spend it on something. The thing I enjoy about this forum is to come and see what others have done and share what I have done. I wish I can show you guys a video clip of the lights responding to music! haha! you would all get a good laugh! Fun mods! until I can save $$$ for the serious stuff, that Renntech supercharger...

You've got a kickass car, very nicely mod...I agree with you that the light mod went a bit crazy, but hey, who cares? It's cool! I really like your tinted AMG taillight...love the darken look and feel! Nice work and goodluck in getting your supercharger

Wanted to ask, if you felt a difference when you moded the muffler pipes underneath the car?

Also love what you did with all the upgrades and fun stuff.

Especially like where you place the dvd player. and its so thin!

The muffler mods definitely raise the decible level and lower the tone of the exhaust. It's not as nice souding as a Carlsson system but it does sound a bit more "throaty" and aggressive. As for the ride, I can't say that it has made it any more powerful. Maybe a couple horse powers but nothing that is really noticeable. It feels faster with the top down because the noise is so much more impressive! haha!

Anyway how's angel eye thing progressing?

P/s: I've ordered a Carlsson exhaust, just the muffler though (Can't afford the whole system), hope it will sounds as good.

thanks for the comps k3v, the angel eyes are still at the shop. No time to get them fitted this month. Too busy with work and other stuff. How's your Carlsson muffler? How much and is it worth it? audio clip?

Its a very good deal, USD2500 for the Carlsson muffler, front lip and rear lip. Normally the muffler will cost around 2400+ alone, so I'm very happy with the deal, and the seller (www.wheelautohaus.com) is very helpful and friendly.

The whole kit is at shipping stage, haven't got the chance to lay my hand on it yet. Hope to get it soon and will try to get an audio clip as well.

Shows us some updates when you're free, or when you got ur angel eye installed

Hi MBslowner, still got my babe. She's still humming along nicely. I tried to do a phone video of the engin exhaust but the quality sucks... I'll try to do a camcorder one but have no idea how to post it. best I can describe is slightly deeper, a bit throaty, like a deep gurgle noise... akin to some of the old American V8 muscles like Corvettes and Mustangs. It's not very dramatic like if you got a new exhaust... sorry, will try again and see if I can post it!

I've finally replaced the stock crossover pipe with X-Pipe plus bigger pipes from post cats through near the mufflers. Here are before and after vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OJLk-07S5DM. Input what you think.

Very nice, at low RPM, they sound just like mine! that low rumbling thraoty gargle... beautiful sound! At the higher RPM's... pretty similar too but I have never been out of my car when that sound is made so can't tell ya. I like it! They should leave the factory like this!
