Bluetooth Question

Hello,
Just purchased a 2008 SL550...dealer not sure if the car has Bluetooth (not a MB dealer).. How can I tell if it does...if it does not have bluetooth, is there a way to add it and have it work with my iPhone? Also wondering if there is a way to play my iPhone music through the car's stereo system?
Thanks for all responses!

The MB bluetooth module is in the top compartment of the center console.

I have a 2008 as well and found an adapter that plugs into the cell phone plug in the console. Though it works with my iPhone 4s it is about the size of a TV channel changer. The device is branded and sold through MB dealers but is manufatured by an aftermarket company. It does nothing but manage cell phone functions with the Command Center. I was told on one of the blogs that some of the 2008 SL 550 audio systems have an AUX input on the radio chassis that can accept an iPod but my dealer says mine does not; he thinks its the European version only. The European model can also be used to play DVD movies. I have been looking dor an aftermarket audio/navigation system to replace the OEM. If you want a photo or part number on what I have or if you find a better solution let me know please. chas@chasnet.com
