Hi, I have a 2007 SL550 that works fine, except that recently I have noticed that when I steer all the way, either right or left, like maneuvering at a parking lot, I hear a loud noise coming from below, between the seats.

Otherwise, no noise or issues while steering while driving at regular speed but of course you don't typically steer that much at that speed.

Any clues on what could this be?

Have you checked your power steering fluid level?
