Hello,
I bought a SL 350 r230 (model 2003), which has a SL 55 amg steering wheel, with the paddles.
Do you know if it's possible to make the paddles work?

Do you have the option of manual mode? On my car there is a button just in front of the shift lever that you press. One is S (sports Mode) one is W (winter driving) and the third option is M (manual mode). It will show up on your dash as you cycle through. I'm not sure if it was an option on the 350 but that should tell you.
If you do have the option, then I would suspect that the factory wheel with buttons was removed and the new wheel with paddles was added but without a conversion module that would allow it to work. If that is the case, I can get you the contact details for Chris who will be able to help.
