Winter storage

Was wondering if anyone has an opinion when storing my 2008 SL550 for the winter. Is it better to leave the top up or down does one way have less pressure on the system. Thanks for any input:

I always store mine with the top up. We have plenty of mice around. I would hate to have one take up winter residence inside of the SL. A trickle charger on the trunk battery is definitely recommended.

Thanks for the reply. I already have ctek battery tender. No real mice problem here. But was still wondering if the hydraulic system has pressure on it in the up or down position. Thanks again for any input
