hey guys, new member here, not new to sl's though. i previously owned an sl500, moved to az, and bought my old car back few months later (after replacing all the abc components *sigh*). now im currently getting into this car, and modding it a bit, with plans to purchase an sl600 by next summer. i recently bought a viper srt10 which should be here in about a month when i go pick it up, and am in the midst of my built turbo ls1 350z (some of you guys know me on vipertalk/viper club as spartan (the newer spartan, not the one everybody hates haha), and my350z as bbs350z. figure id come and say hello to the new group and drop a few pics of some of my current and past cars.

my current question about the sl, im buying lowering links, and looking to add some 19's to the mix. got an 8.5/10 set lined up and curious what an aggressive offset would be (no stretched tires, and no poke, more so flush). anyways, i hope to get to meet some of you locals, and look forward to my stay here in the boards, especially once i get an sl600.

Dude I didn't know you had this set of cars! Definitely a lot more modding than I was expecting! Very sweet indeed.

If you're planning on modding the SL (and future SL), given your taste and style in cars, and wanting flush and links and everything, ditch the idea for 19's and go 20's. A little harsher ride, but it'll definitely give you the look you're probably going to want. And with the links, very sweet stance indeed. Buy my Renntech's, I'll give you a good price, I'm ready to move these wheels out of the guest bedroom. They're not perfect, but they are pretty sweet.

^yea im a bit of a car nut, although now ive had my fair share of building and tinkering and looking to just get into a car and drive. viper is a built stock cube stock comp block, full bellangers etc that *might* be getting a shot of nitrous but unsure if i want that hassle, the sl500 is more or less a daily, but plan on swapping over to an sl600 by next year sometime and doing muffler delete and a flash. and the z will be fore sale soon, the gf is getting pissed with all these cars everywhere haha. on a sidenote, i wouldve bought your links but i just bought a set earlier in the week
