SBC pump red light 10 minutes later fine./ horn sounding intermittantly
Looking for some help. 2004 SL 500. 5 minutes after start up and driving the Magical red light came on stop driving. No brakes pedal soft. Made it back home. Assuming SBC pump.Restarted car 10 minutes later and has been fine ever since. Also 10 days before this, horn starting sounding at start up for a second or 2 then stops, then when driving may just beep for a second or 5 seconds. When ever it wants. Is it possible that the Right Side front passenger Sam unit is bad, as I believe it controls both functions, or is this 2 separate problems that just happened to occur together. Being horn possibly clock springs behind air bag need replacing and SBC pump went. Driven locally for a few days now , no problems with brakes again but horn still sounding intermittantly.Any help would truly be appreciated.

2007 SL 550
There is an extended 10 year warranty on the SBC. I had issues with this and went to the dealer today for warranty work. Low and behold the front SAM was defective and could not display any info on car. My consumer battery has been giving me fits lately with the convenient item unavailable message until I drive and recharge it. This led to Red Brake light no brakes etc etc. Replaced the battery today and I'm thinking that will solve all issues.
